What's everybody's favorite pick for best field in North Dakota? give some substance too, good dimensions, well cared for, good concessions, great atmosphere?

Definatley would have to say Newman or Jack as well. Great atmosphere, and a lot of history/good players coming out of those organizations.

Either Newman or Minot IMO. Newman should be up there because its a minor league field. Minot's atmosphere with the dugouts behind the plate and the prison bars and walls surrounding the field. The infield cutouts are crisp and its evident they take care of the field. Haven't played there since the flood. Any up to date input on the condition? Also, even though Moorhead may be in Minnesota, love playing there. Nice dugouts they just need some freaking bleachers. Jack Williams is beautiful when its not destroyed by the flood.

my favorite big town field has to be Jack Williams. set up right along the river, it's got a nice enclosed feeling that you don't normally get from a stadium that size. once they finish building the dike up all the way around the field, it should have an even better enclosed space. the dimensions of the field are huge in the middle, so it's no wonder the Fargo Legion has always had to have such good center fielders.
My favorite small town field is Enderlin. so much history and tradition there and it's got some very quirky dimensions that make for interesting games. it's always fun trying to park one off of a train.

The top fields in North Dakota have to be Jack Williams, and Jack Brown. Both are great to play on, but also great to watch a game at. I agree with coldspot too, that Enderlin is the best small town field. The train tracks in the outfield make the field, even though the dimensions are a little small, it is still one of the best in ND.

Even though I am a Valley City native and have been playing on Charlie Brown my whole, I'd have to say West Fargo's baseball field is one of the tops in state. Charlie Brown is definitely up there, and seems to be improving every year.

Charlie Brown is definitely up there, and seems to be improving every year. Charlie Brown is a decent field but the surroundings are so boring. If the dugouts, press box, and seating had been built into the hill it would have so much more character. they need to plant some trees along the outfield fence too. absolutely awful to play there when the wind is from the south.

Charlie Brown has been upgrading each and every year, but i do agree with Coldspot. If they would add some trees to the outfield, and some other minor new features, that would have to move that field towards the top of the list.
